Born in Nijmegen(The Netherlands) in 1993. He is passionate about topics that lie at the intersection of social justice an environmental sustainability, particularly at the urban level. Hosted by the Basque Centre for Climate Change(BC3) and enrolled at the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology of the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (ICTA-UAB), his PhD research focuses on the equity implications of climate adaptation finance decision-making. Prior to starting his PhD, he worked as an intern for the Inclusion and Rights Section at UNESCO HQ in Paris, and as a research assistant (trainee) on the effectiveness and credibility of urban climate change adaptation at the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3). He holds a European Master´s degree in Human Rights and Democartization from the European Inter-University Center for Human Rights and Democratization (EIUC), a MSc in Public Policy and Governance from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and a BSc in International Development Studies from Wageningen University (WUR). He is a member of the Worlconnectors, a Dutch network of opinion leaders from different backgrounds who commit themselves to a sustainable, just and peaceful world.
