Bruna Vives is a free-lance senior consultant with international and multidisciplinary training and 20 years’ management experience in large international and leading-edge research organizations. From 2015-2021 she was the Managing Director of the Center for Genomic Regulation in Barcelona having responsibility over institute operations (500 international staff and 44 M€ annual budget). She has a profound and wide understanding of the national and European research landscape and skilled at strategy & operations, with a special focus on strategic planning and organizational strategy, budget maximizing operations, financial analysis, HR development projects, as well as R&D funding acquisition & project implementation. Consulting services in organizational development for research and innovation-driven private/public organizations include project design and development, mentoring and training for senior professionals, as well as external assessments (e.g. EU-Programmes, management units) on behalf of funding agencies such as the European Commission or independent organizations.
