Carlos graduated in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Barcelona (2013) and did a master degree in Molecular Biotechnology at the same university (2014). After an erasmus in the University of Oxford, Carlos enrolled in the laboratory of Prof. Xavier Trepat at IBEC to study mechanobiology of living tissues. During his PhD, Carlos also worked at renowned international research institutes such as the UMC Utrecht (the Netherlands) and the Institut Curie (France). After receiving the PhD award, Carlos joined the Institut Curie as a postdoctoral researcher to study cancer dynamics.
