Nace en Madrid en 1979. En 2002 se licencia en Ciencias Biológicas por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) y obtiene el Premio Extraordinario de Licenciatura. Durante el curso 2002-03 realiza un diplôme d'études approfondies en Biodiversidad: Historia, Genética y Mecanismos de Evolución, en la Université Pierre-et-Marie Curie de París (Paris VI). Actualmente trabaja con la asociación de divulgación científica francesa Planète Science para la creación de una red europea de divulgación científica.
