Nace en Madrid en 1969. En 1992 obtiene el título de licenciado en Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales por el CUNEF, de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. En 1998 obtiene el máster en Administración de Empresas de la Graduate School of Business de Stanford University, donde se gradúa con el reconocimiento de Arjay Miller Scholar. Tras graduarse por Stanford, fue CEO de un start-up de software. En la actualidad es Socio y Managing Director de The Boston Consulting Group, donde es Sector leader a nivel mundial del área de Petróleo y responsable del área de Energía para la Península Ibérica.
