Since graduating in Humanities from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 1998, I have pursued a diverse and enriching career. I hold an MA in History from UPF (2004), a Graduate Degree in Business and Cultural Institutions from IDEC-UPF, and a DEA in Archaeology from IUHJVV-UPF. As a FPU research fellow at UPF, I participated in numerous national and international archaeological excavations.
In 2001, I founded and directed Musealia.com, Spain’s first Internet portal dedicated to museums and ICT, where I also offered consultancy in Technology and the Arts until 2004.
After completing an MS in Arts Administration at Boston University (BU) in 2006, supported by a "la Caixa" Fellowship, I interned at the Bronx Museum and subsequently spent two years at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Upon returning to Barcelona in 2008, I joined RBA Audiovisual as Product Director, serving until 2011. Concurrently, I founded Editorial Tria Llibres and Barcelona International Training and Education in 2009, providing high-quality academic programs for international institutions and private companies. I served as a lecturer at Boston University from 2007 to 2017 and have been an Associate Professor at UPF since 2019.
In 2013, I was appointed Director and later CEO of Carmen Balcells Agency, overseeing its digital strategy until September 2015. Between 2016 and 2018, I led the Strategic Communications for the Catalan Department of Health and was a member of the minister’s cabinet, Board of Directors, and Executive Committee. From 2018 to 2022, I was the Director of Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility at Institut Català de la Salut, where I also coordinated the Arts in Health Strategy.
Since September 2022, I have been the Head of Community Action, Public Programs, and Communications at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC).
