Dr. Inmaculada Adarves-Yorno (PhD, MA, MSc, BA) is a researcher, leadership trainer, TEDx speaker and undercover revolutionary. Working at the Business School, she led a Mindfulness revolution in Kenyan Prisons. For over a decade, she has investigated change agents and trained hundreds of individuals to lead change within and around them. In her quest to understand how we can change ourselves at our core, she has combined her academic research with Tibetan and shamanic training. In her pursuit of wholeness, she has also become an artist who captures the wonderfulness and challenges of the inner life in abstract paintings. Her academic and artistic work has been presented internationally. Her cutting edge leadership training combines innovative techniques and deep inner work. Nace en Málaga en 1975. En 1996 obtiene una Beca de Colaboración del Ministerio de Educación y Cultura para trabajar en el Departamento de Psicología Social de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). En 1997 finaliza la licenciatura de Psicología con una beca Erasmus en la Universidad de Ámsterdam. En 1998 obtiene el título de especialista en el Diagnóstico e Intervención sobre las Necesidades y Problemas Sociales. De 1998 a Junio de 2000 trabaja para el Ministerio de Trabajo y Asuntos Sociales en el Instituto de la Mujer. En 2001 obtiene el título de estudios superiores de posgrado en Psicología Social por la UAM. En septiembre de 2001 finaliza el Máster de Métodos de Investigación en Psicología en la University of Exeter (Reino Unido). En 2005 finaliza su doctorado en Creatividad y Liderazgo en dicha universidad. En 2006 consigue una beca posdoctoral ESRC. Ha realizado investigaciones en diversas areas como creatividad, liderazgo, resiliencia y mindfulness.
