I am an economist by the University of Barcelona (1992), and both MSc in European Integration (1993) and PhD in Government (1999) by the London School of Economics. I became part of the teaching community of the University of Barcelona in 1995 and I am now Associate Professor at its Department of Economic History, Institutions, Policies and World Economy.  I am also researcher at the Obervatory of European Foreign Policy of the Barcelona Institute of International Studies (IBEI). My research has focused in the last years on EU trade policy and the World Trade Organization.
