Licenciado en Ciencias Empresariales y máster en Administración de Empresas por ESADE, cursa la especialización en Finanzas en la École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC), en Francia, en el marco del máster CEMS. Consultoria (1993-1998): En 1993 se incorpora a la oficina de París de Oliver Wyman, compañía internacional de consultoría en estrategia y alta dirección, donde es asociado hasta 1998, año en que inicia el MBA en la Graduate School of Business de la Stanford University. Growth Capital Private Equity (2001-actualidad): Tras trabajar en el banco de inversión Morgan Stanley en Londres, y en la firma de capital riesgo Baring Private Equity Partners, trabaja como socio y director de inversiones de capital riesgo (growth y development capital) en Africa y desde 2018 en Barcelona, con la gestora de fondos de capital privado con foco en sostenibilidad Suma Capital. Habla inglés, francés y portugués.

An increasingly connected talent network| Part Two
Two weeks ago, some members of the new Board at the ”la Caixa” Fellows Organisation presented other fellows who they had the chance to meet through this talent network. We’ll be finishing off this two-part article today and finding out some more about new fellows through the rest of the board. Once again, connections between fellows, which come about through the activities organised by the association, underscore the wealth of professional and personal opportunities that nurture our community.

The cities of the future
If the UN is correct, in 2050, city dwellers will account for 70% of the world population. As such, the secret to success in creating a sustainable world mainly lies in the large urban centres. We need to rethink cities and promote grass-roots level change, bringing together urban planning tools and architectural improvements. We discussed all of this with 20 ”la Caixa” Foundation fellows working in the sector and reflected on the “Cities of the Future”.
