Alberto was born in Madrid in 1988. He is an architect from the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid and holds a master’s degree in architecture from The Cooper Union of New York, where he currently lives. Before moving to New York, Alberto lived and worked in Shanghai and Amsterdam at UNStudio and Liverpool at Myo Interiors. Additionally, he is the co-founder and editor of the magazine Hidden Architecture that has been awarded and exhibited in different institutions including Colegio de Arquitectos de Arquitectura de Madrid (2016) and Biennale de Venezia (2018). Alberto won La Caixa Fellowship in 2021 to pursue graduate studies in United States and research the relation between sustainability and vernacular architecture. He speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish.
