Nace en Palma de Mallorca en 1964. Entre 1984 y 1987 cursa estudios de Realización en el Instituto Oficial de Radio y Televisión y se licencia en Ciencias de la Información, sección Periodismo, por la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Ese mismo año se incorpora a los Servicios Informativos de Televisión Española en Sant Cugat (TVE), donde trabaja en la realización de programas hasta 1990. En esa fecha, ingresa en el American Film Institute para cursar estudios de Cinematografía y obtener, en 1993, un Master of Fine Arts. Desde entonces trabaja como guionista y realizador de cine y televisión.
