Nace en Girona en 1968. En 1991 obtiene el título de licenciado en Letras (Filología Inglesa y Germanística) por la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Durante el curso 1992-93 realiza un máster en Literatura en la School of English, de la University of Leeds. Actualmente es profesor ayudante del Departamento de Filología Inglesa de la UAB, trabajo que compagina con la traducción de obras literarias.
