Nace en Madrid en 1977. En 2008 recibe el título de Arquitecto por la London Metropolitan University de Londres con la calificación de sobresaliente. En 2011 obtiene el Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design en Columbia University, Nueva York, recibiendo los premios Honors Award for Excellence in Design y Lucille Smyser Lowenfish Memorial Prize. En 2012 obtiene el Advanced Architectural Research Certificate en Columbia University, Nueva York. Marcos ha trabajado a nivel internacional en diversos estudios de arquitectura, destacando OMA / Office for Metropolitan Architecture en Rotterdam y CHORA en Londres. En la actualidad, Marcos es Director Asociado de la oficina de arquitectura Basalt Architects en Reykjavik, Islandia, además de dirigir el estudio de diseño multidisciplinar UNSTABLE.
