Nace en Barcelona en 1979. En 2001 se licencia en Ciencias Matemáticas por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), con Premio Extraordinario de Licenciatura. Durante el penúltimo curso de carrera estudia en la Universität Würzburg (Alemania) con el programa Erasmus. De 2002 a 2004 estudia el International Master of Science in Computational Mechanics en la Technische Universität München (Alemania), especializándose en simulación numérica de fluidos. En 2005 se incorpora al Centro Internacional de Métodos Numéricos en Ingeniería de la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, donde se doctora con la tesis titulada "Numerical simulation of multi-fluid flows with the Particle Finite Element Method" y realiza estancias de investigación en Argentina y EEUU. En 2010 se incorpora a la empresa Next Limit Technologies, donde desarrolla el software de simulación de fluidos XFlow. Posteriormente trabaja en la empresa Abengoa Research, dedicada a I+D en energías renovables. Después de estudiar un MBA en Esade Business School, se incorpora al Barcelona Supercomputing Center - Centro Nacional de Supercomputación como responsable de Desarrollo de Negocio. En 2019 crea la startup NEXTMOL, que provee soluciones de simulación de materiales y analítica de datos para la industria química.
