Today we celebrated at the Science Museum Cosmocaixa the ceremony for the awarding of doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships of the 2022 call. 105 excellent researchers join the fellowship community to develop their projects in universities and research centres in Spain and Portugal.

In the real world, the Force also inspires the world of Pilar Baldominos when it comes to understanding cancer. Pilar is doing her PhD at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute at Harvard University, where Jedi Knights, Sith Lords and Queen Padmé Amidala also play a role.

On the 21st of November, we brought together an interdisciplinary group of ”la Caixa” Foundation fellows to speak about energy. These experts stated their conviction that this crisis is a watershed moment for our relationship with energy resources. However, they also highlighted the fact that we should see these moments of tension as an opportunity.
