Dr. Enric Jané is an independent consultant providing strategic and technical support to global health organizations. He has over 15 years of experience working in many domains and culturally diverse environments, influencing and supporting organization's leadership to address complex challenges, institutional development and change. Prior to becoming a consultant, Dr. Jané was a Senior Program Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, working on primary health care and mobile health solutions. Other previous positions include Special Advisor to the Director-General at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) and Special Advisor to the Director-General at the Manhiça Health Research Center (Mozambique). Dr. Jané holds an MD degree, a BSc in Physics and a PhD from the University of Barcelona (Spain), and an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the Columbia University (NY, USA). He has worked and lived in several countries including the US, the UK, Spain, and Mozambique.
