Born in Pamplona in 1990. In 2008, he moved to Barcelona to start his studies at the Centre de Formació Interdisciplinària Superior (CFIS), a center of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). Íñigo holds three degrees on Telecommunication Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Electronics Engineering by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales de Barcelona (ETSEIB) and the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicaciones de Barcelona (ETSETB). During his studies, he was a research assistant at the NanoSat Lab at UPC BarcelonaTech, where he worked on developing small satellites. In 2016 he obtained his M.Sc. form the MIT, and his worked focused on the development of computational tools to architect the next generation of space communications, in close collaboration with NASA. In 2020, he obtained his PhD from MIT, with a thesis about the capabilities of different aerial and spacial systems to extend global connectivity. He has experience as a software engineer in the space industry. He currently works for Google in New York.  He speaks Spanish, English and Catalan.
