Ignasi Granero Moya

Born in Rubí in 1995. He obtains a BSc in Biotechnology by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2017. As part of these studies, he becomes Erasmus+ student in Wageningen University and Research (WUR) during the fourth course. In 2018, he pursues a MSc in Molecular Biotechnology by the Universitat de Barcelona (UB). Since the beginning of his studies, he serves as a research assistant in several institutions: Institut de Biotecnologia i Biomedicina (UAB), Plant Science Department at the University of Cambridge, Centro Nacional de Biotecnología-CSIC in Madrid, and Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC). In the latter, he carries out a MSc thesis under the supervision of Pere Roca-Cusachs (Cellular and Molecular Mechanobiology group). This work serves as the seminal work for the project he is now developping for his PhD thesis.
